My name is Elijah. Also known as DJ FrostTop. I got the name DJ FrostTop from my dad. I wanted to bleach the tips of my hair blonde one day and my dad is the kind to crack a joke every time he sees me. He called me DJ FrostTop and it stuck. I grew up in a household filled with soul. Music was a constant. My dad always had R&B and 90's hits playing, and before I was even five years old, I had favorite artists like Michael Jackson, Dru Hill, K-Ci & JoJo, Boyz II Men, Missy Elliot, and Mary J. Blige. As I got older, that early love grew into a deep appreciation for artists like Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, and Jelly Roll. While I specialize in R&B and Pop, I genuinely love all genres. I've DJ'd everything from gospel to country music, and I'm always open to new sounds and styles. Music has helped me connect with people on a deeper level throughout my life. It's more than just a passion; it's a way I relate to the world. I got into DJing back in 2014 by helping a friend who later became my mentor. By 2017, I was working alongside him at school dances, birthday parties, and work gatherings. A few years later, I branched out to start doing events on my own, and it's been uphill ever since.
